The library will now be open 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; and 2 to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

January's schedule begins with the return of the popular Tiny Art Show. Residents can pick up a miniature canvas at the library and return their finished piece by Feb. 1. The community artwork will be displayed in an exhibit running through March 1. Additionally, a "Winter Wellness" workshop on Jan. 14 will offer tips for staying warm, safe, and preventing falls.

As Cohasset High School students prepare for final exams, the library will provide support with "Finals Fuel." Hot chocolate and donuts will be available on Jan. 21, followed by a variety of snacks and drinks on Jan. 22 for students in grades 9-12.

Later in the month, residents can explore the art of Japanese tea at a matcha demonstration and tasting on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 29. Participants will learn about traditional preparation and sample a cold-brewed version of the tea. The month will conclude on Friday, Jan. 30, with a celebration of National Hot Chocolate Day. The library will host a hot chocolate bar with various flavors and toppings from 10 a.m. to noon.

The library encourages all residents to visit cohassetlibrary.org for a complete list of January programs and to browse new book arrivals, such as "Super Body" by William Davis and "The Surrogate Mother" by Freida McFadden.
